Brief Bio

A little about me

WHERE I COME FROM

I was born and raised in West Philadelphia, where I have lived most of my life.  I am the fifth child of a family of twelve children born to Harold Harvey, Sr. and Mary Alice Harvey.  I attended Transfiguration Elementary School and graduated from West Catholic Boys' High School.  I earned my Bachelor's degree from Temple University and my Paralegal certificate from The Institute for Paralegal Training.

I and my wife, Mary Ann, are blessed with three wonderful children.

A THRIVING CAREER

I have over 15 years of paralegal experience and have worked in the educational, insurance and security fields, as well.  Additionally, I have been involved in community activism as a West Philadelphia Block Captain.  In the 60th Ward, I served and am currently serving as a Philadelphia Committee Person and am Ward Chairperson.  My professional work involved reviewing, analyzing, organizing as well as summarizing facts and legal issues.  Additionally, I have drafted case related documents and demand letters.  I have worked closely with attorneys to accomplish effective resolution of cases on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants.

In the service of our country, I have a combined total of over 20 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves and U.S. Air Force Reserves.
